The BTSP-4445L P/N 32248-001 rechargeable vented Nickel-Cadmium battery is widely used on the Embraer 135/145 aircraft series.
The BTSP-4445L battery consists of twenty nickel-cadmium cells, type 44SP100, enclosed in a stainless steel container. The battery is designed to be used for standy/busbar support and auxiliary engine/APU starting.
