- EAM-12 life rafts have the flotation tube compartmentalized into two chambers by vertical bulkheads
- Life-line and miscellaneous accessories to assist in boarding, use and maintenance are contained about raft perimeter
- Instructions for use of these accessories are printed on tube and deck
- Raft instruction manual is tied to deck
- Rafts with standard or standard plus kits have canopy stowed with survival kit
- Canopy contains door opening with roll-up door cover and rainwater collector
